Visit of geology students from Palackeho University in Olomouc

On 30/10/2025, we were visited by students of geology and environmental geology at the Faculty of Science of the University of Olomouc under the guidance of Dr. Lada Hýlová. Almost 40 students also came to get acquainted with our project as part of a several-day excursion around the area. It was clear that the two-hour walk around the tailings with an expert commentary by director Votava interested them. Future geologists were interested in the history of the origin of the tailings, those who focused on the environment listened with interest to the planned reclamation of the entire area.
