Resulting products
The MANGAN Chvaletice plant will use state-of-the-art sustainable technologies to make two products: high-purity electrolytic manganese metal (HPEMM), of which about two thirds will be converted to high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM). Both are high-purity manganese products.
High-purity electrolytic manganese metal (HPEMM)
Used by precursor manufacturers of precursors who make their own solutions of manganese sulphate.
Will account for approximately 1/3 of production.

A manganese product used by most manufacturers of lithium-ion batteries.
Will account for approximately 2/3 of production.
