Transfer of broad-leaved helleborine

Due date:
15.10.2024

On October 15, 2024, together with an expert in the field of environmental protection, we transferred 9 pieces of this most abundant species of helleborine in our country. It was a planned and at the same time permitted event. As part of the affirmative binding opinion on the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of 27 March 2024, the condition was set to ensure the transfer of identified specimens of broad-leaved helleborine from the industrial area of EP Chvaletice to sites suitable according to the biological assessment.

Some plants were transplanted, for example, from the edge of a concrete slab, others from a layer of gravel. The dug plants were placed in a crate and immediately after picking up they were transported to an alternative agreed location in the nearby area. The plants were planted on the edge of the forest near the grassy shore of the pond, as it corresponds to the conditions suitable for this species.
